Dear Abba,
We are going to invent a new machine that can tell when
there is an earthquake, or not, because we are going to make it go to the first
part of the crust of the earth. It'll have sensors so it can see the plates
move. The plates move, super-slowly, and when they crash into each other that's
what makes earthquakes. My machine will tell when there'll be an earthquake and
I'll be very rich and famous.
The machine will be like a factory. It has a round thing
that holds up the sensors that go underground. They'll see the plates and
that's how we can tell there'll be an earthquake or not. But it will have a big
TV to see what the sensor is seeing.
This page is about how we're gonna build
it. We will use shovels to dig through the first layer of the crust. Then we
build the machine. One part goes in the hole. It's gonna be like a big factory.
Most of all, I will be on TV and I can tell the people if there's gonna be an
earthquake or not. We can help build the machine. It may take a week but it's
OK.
We will have to use a lot of materials. Such as shovels,
sensors, building part of it, factories inside the building, and finally some
fans on top of it so it will not get into people's eyes while we are building
it.
